You need a food dehydrator for this recipe.
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Marinate time: 2 hours
Dehydrator time: 8 – 12 hrs
*3 – 4 lbs. very lean London broil 3/4 cup soy sauce 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup teriyaki 1/4 cup A-1 sauce 1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tsp. liquid smoke coarse pepper
*When you pick up your London broil at the market, you can ask the butcher to slice it into thin strips. The meat slicer he has access to can slice super thin and fast. If you decide you want to slice it yourself try putting the London broil into the freezer first until it becomes firm. This will make slicing it much easier.
Cutting against the grain cut London broil into 1/4″ thick strips, trim off fat as you do.
In a casserole type dish make the marinade by adding the soy sauce, Worcestershire, teriyaki, A-1, brown sugar, liquid smoke and coarse pepper. Stir. Lay the sliced meat in the marinade. Allow to marinate for 2 days.
After 2 days remove the meat from the marinade and sprinkle fresh cracked pepper on one side of the meat.
Place the meat strips into a food dehydrator. Leave in dehydrator for 8 – 12 hours until meat is very dry.
