This Recipe Is Easy As Pie!
Preparation time: 30 minutes
Bake time: 45 minutes @ 375F
1 cup pecan halves 3 eggs, lightly beaten ¾ cup corn syrup
¾ cup sugar ¼ tsp. Salt 2 ½ tsp. Vanilla 3 Tbsp. Butter, melted
1 unbaked pie shell
Combine eggs and corn syrup. Mix well. Add sugar and let stand until blended in with eggs and corn syrup.
Stir in salt and vanilla. Let stand 5 minutes.
Spread nuts evenly on bottom of pie shell with the top half of each nut facing up.
Stir melted butter into syrup mixture. Carefully pour over nuts. Be sure all nuts rise to the top.
Bake for 45 minutes or until center is firm.
