Sweet & Sour Pork

1 lb raw lean pork (pork steaks or chops) 1 cup pineapple chunks, drained, reserve juice
1 med. Bell pepper, sliced fairly thick ½ med yellow onion, sliced thick 2 eggs, beaten
1 cup flour ½ tsp Accent 1 tsp salt 1 tsp soy sauce ½ cup sugar
½ cup pineapple juice ¼ cup catsup ½ cup rice vinegar 2 Tbl cornstarch mixed with 1/3 cup water
Cut pork into 3/4” squares. Combine flour, Accent and salt. Dip pork in beaten eggs and then in flour mix. Fry in hot fat until brown on all sides. Place on paper towels.
Combine soy sauce, sugar, pineapple juice, catsup and vinegar in heavy sauce pan. Blend well and bring to a boil. Gradually add cornstarch paste stirring until sauce thickens.
Add bell pepper, onion and pineapple. Stir, then add fried pork strips. Heat through and serve.
